
About Priti
I am an art director, designer and a chef, currently pursuing masters in HCID (Human Computer Interaction Design). I also sit on the board of Woodfield Project as their trustee and volunteer.
My wildly divergent careers, has helped me identify where ideas interact - and more significantly develop interdisciplinary thinking which has become a critical factor in today's rapidly evolving business world. Along the way, I have tried to make awesome stuff and not be a jerk in the process. That's always been my motto, anyways.
Art Director
In my 17 year - career as an Art Director, I've worked with both big and small agencies - from FCB, Ogilvy and BBDO with Fortune 500 brands, to independent design shops and in-house agencies. I've led integrated advertising campaigns across emerging channels, TV, print, digital and social. I have also led re-branding and design efforts for large-scale, corporate identity systems. In working directly with clients, I seek to develop partnerships to deliver strategic and emotionally-resonant creative solutions.
Having worked at all levels within the creative industry in many countries on a wide range of delightful clients, I have had the opportunity to lead and nurture both small and large teams and specialise in conceptual thinking, creative direction, design and photography.
At the core of all the projects that I work on, is an insightful concept and a systematic approach that is always appropriate and relevant to the specific needs of that particular client or brief.
My undergraduate degree is in BFA(Applied arts) where I specialised in photography and throughout my advertising career, I have art directed and worked on post production of many shoots, be it fashion, food, product or lifestyle.
Chef
I started cooking in my mother’s experimental, yet strict and stringent kitchen at the age of 9. However my interest in cooking professionally, began when I launched my first pop up cafe at The Woodfield Project in London, serving traditional food in an inventive manner. which was wildly successful.
My new interest and success in food, led to jobs at Eataly and Claridge’s Hotel. I have been extremely lucky to work with top renowned chefs like Dmitri Magi, Richard Gali and likes who have worked in Michelin starred restaurants around the world. I have learned cooking with new ingredients, techniques and developed creative skills in menu implementation, flavours, methods, plating style and staying calm in face of managing a pass that can push covers on a busy weekend night.
